The company Scandic Work s. r.o. Thank you for visiting our website. The protection of your personal data is very important to us, so we want to inform you about the conditions for processing your personal data, which we process when you visit our website and use our services.

Scandic Work s. r.o. publishes this document, which includes the basic principles of processing personal data when visiting and providing services via the website www.scandicwork.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).

We would like to ask you to carefully read this Personal Data Processing Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”). These Policies are still available on the Website, where you can view them at any time or save them on your device.

A possible change in legislation or a change in our internal processes may cause these personal data processing rules to be modified, so Scandic Work s. r. about. reserves the right to amend these Principles.

3.Principles of processing and security of Personal Data

Scandic Work processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, which repeals Directive 95/46/EC on the protection of personal data data, and other valid legal regulations (hereinafter referred to as the “General Data Protection Regulation”).

The basic principles of processing your personal data are:

“Principle of legality, fairness and transparency” – We always process your personal data in a legal manner, fairly and transparently,

“Principle of purpose limitation” – Your personal data is obtained for specifically determined, explicitly stated and legitimate purposes and is not further processed in a way that is not compatible with the original purpose of its processing,

“Principle of correctness” – we only process personal data that is correct and, if necessary, updated,

“Principle of data minimization” – we only process specific personal data that are necessary to achieve the purpose of their processing,

“Principle of minimization of storage” – we store your personal data in a form that enables your identification only as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data is processed,

“Principle of integrity and confidentiality” – we process personal data in a way that guarantees its adequate security, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction or damage, through appropriate technical or organizational measures.

4.Processing of personal data when visiting and providing services on the website

In relation to the processing of your personal data by Scandic Work, you will find below information on specific processes, the scope and purposes of data processing, the legal bases of processing and the relevant storage period.

4.1. Processing of personal data when visiting the website

Scope and purpose of personal data processing

We record and use the personal data of website visitors only to the extent necessary for the operation of a functional website and its content and services. This means that we only collect personal data that your browser automatically transfers and temporarily stores in a log file. This is the following data: IP address of the requesting computer, date and time of access, name and URL of the downloaded file, the website from which the access is made, the browser used and possibly also the operating system of your computer, as well as the name of your Internet access operator.

The purpose of processing this data is the general administration of the Website, ensuring a problem-free connection to the Website and ensuring convenient use of the Website.

Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 par. 1 letter f) of the general regulation on the protection of personal data, since the processing of the above-mentioned data is necessary for the operation of the website. Providing the above-mentioned personal data for this purpose of processing is not a legal or contractual requirement, but without their processing it is not possible to visit our website. The affected person has the right to object to the processing of this data.

Storage period

Personal data are processed for the time necessary to achieve the purpose of their processing. The personal data of the person concerned will be deleted immediately after the purpose has been fulfilled.

4.2. Contact form

The visitor of the website is authorized to contact Scandic Work through the online contact form based on his own decision. In order to use the contact form, it is inevitable that you provide us with the following data: name, surname, e-mail address, content of the message. The purpose of processing personal data is to ensure mutual communication and processing of your suggestions or complaints.

Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 par. 1 letter a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, i.e. Your express consent. The processing of personal data is necessary for processing your request, therefore we ask that you give us your explicit consent for this purpose. The provision of personal data for this purpose is not a legal or contractual requirement, but without their processing it is not possible to process your request or other request properly. You can withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time.

Retention period

You can revoke your consent to the processing of personal data at any time, otherwise Scandic Work processes your personal data for a period of 3 years from the date of its acquisition. After this period, your personal data will be deleted.

4.3. Newsletter (information about news)

Scope and purpose of personal data processing

Website visitors have the option to subscribe to the newsletter. We also plan to send the newsletter to people who have not subscribed to the newsletter, but we obtained their e-mail address directly in connection with the provision of our services. The purpose of processing personal data is to inform website visitors, or our clients, about news regarding our services. In order to sign up for the subscription and sending of the Newsletter, we process your following data: e-mail address.

Legal basis

The processing of your personal data for the purpose of sending the newsletter is based on the legitimate interest of Scandic Work according to Art. 6 par. 1 letter f) of the General Data Protection Regulation. The provision of personal data for this purpose is not a legal or contractual requirement, but without their processing it is not possible to send you the newsletter.

If you signed up for the newsletter, the legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 par. 1 letter a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, i.e. Your consent.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. We consider unsubscribing from the newsletter as an objection to the respective processing of personal data, which you have the right to according to Art. 21 par. 1 and 2 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

After unsubscribing from the newsletter, we will no longer send you these electronic messages and we will not process your personal data for this purpose.

Retention period

For the purpose of receiving and sending the newsletter, we will keep your personal data for the period during which you subscribe to the newsletter, or until the expiration of 3 years from the granting of your consent.

4.4. Personal data in the resume database

The services provided to job seekers include the possibility to send a CV and make it available/provide in the CV database created on the Website by Scandic Work’s business partner via an online form filled out on the Website or via a printed form delivered to the address of Scandic Work.

The curriculum vitae database is a joint database of the above-mentioned companies, which create it together and process personal data in it as joint operators. The mutual cooperation of the joint operators was declared in a written contract, which was concluded for an indefinite period and determines the conditions of personal data processing between the joint operators.

The joint operators have agreed:

– each of the joint operators will be the contact point for the affected persons, while each of the joint operators will publish information about the contact point on their website,

– the data subject can exercise his rights according to the General Data Protection Regulation with each of the joint operators and against each of the joint operators,

  • the obligations to provide information listed in Articles 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation will be fulfilled by each of the joint operators,
  • duties and tasks related to the exercise of the rights of the persons concerned will be performed by Scandic Work s.r.o.

The purpose of processing personal data is to help the person concerned, as a job seeker, to find a suitable job opportunity. Scandic Work, based on the consent of the person concerned and for the purpose stated in the previous sentence, is authorized to make available/provide the personal data listed in the CV of the person concerned to its business partners.

In order to provide assistance in finding a job, Scandic Work is authorized to inform the data subject via SMS or e-mail about the fact that its business partner has expressed interest in the bio of the data subject. The person concerned is entitled to object to such processing of personal data.

Resumes stored in the resume database include: at least one contact information (e-mail or phone), highest level of education, designation of work area and job position in which he is interested, designation of the location in which he is looking for work, desired type of employment, determination of gender (exclusively for the purposes of statistical processing). The provision of additional data in the CV is at the sole discretion of the job seeker concerned.

Legal basis

Your personal data may be processed in the resume database and provided to business partners by the above-mentioned joint operator pursuant to Art. 6 par. 1 letter a) of the General Regulation, i.e. with the consent of the person concerned.

Your personal data can also be processed in the resume database according to Art. 6 par. 1 letter f) of the General Regulation, i.e. legitimate interest, in order to provide information (via SMS message or e-mail) that Scandic Work’s business partner has expressed interest in your resume. After unsubscribing from SMS or e-mail, we will no longer send you these electronic messages and we will not process your personal data for this purpose.

Retention period

The personal data listed in the biography of the person concerned are made available/provided to our business partners via the website, within 12 months from the date of granting your consent to the processing of personal data. After the end of the above-mentioned period, your personal data listed in the CV will continue to be stored in case you decide to make your CV available to our business partners again.

After a period of 3 years has passed since your last login to the registration created on the website, the data in the resume database will be definitively anonymized and further used exclusively for statistical purposes. Based on the written request of the Data Subject, Scandic Work is obliged to permanently delete personal data.

4.5. Personal data in response to a job offer

Scope and purpose of personal data processing

Among the services provided by the company Scandic Work is the possibility to publish a job offer on the website, while these job offers are published by Scandic Work. Job seekers are entitled to respond to these job offers.

The response to the published job offer on the website includes: at least one contact information (e-mail or telephone), highest education achieved, gender determination (exclusively for the purposes of statistical processing). Providing additional data in response to a job offer is at the sole discretion of the interested job seeker.

The purpose of processing personal data is to help the person concerned, as a job seeker, to find a suitable job opportunity. For this purpose, Scandic Work archives the responses sent by job seekers to job offers published on the website and ensures their sending (provision) to the business partner who published the job offer on the website.

Legal basis

Answers on the website published job offers archived by Scandic Work s.r.o. contain data that is considered personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation. This personal data can be processed by Scandic Work only in accordance with Art. 6 par. 1 letter a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, i.e. with the consent of the person concerned.

These services are provided by the respective companies (“operators”). Based on the data transmitted by the respective services via social plugins, the service is able to log you into your account if necessary. After logging into one of the operators’ social networks, the operators can immediately assign a visit to this website to your profile.

If you work with social plugins, the relevant information is also transferred directly to the operator’s server and stored there. This information can also be published in the social network and displayed there under your contacts. If you want to prevent such immediate assignment of data collected via our website to your profile, you must log out of your account with the relevant provider before visiting our website. Information on the scope and purpose of data collection by the respective service, as well as further processing and such use of your data, can be found in the information on data protection directly on the website of the service of the relevant operator.

8.Rights of affected persons

Company, Scandic Work s. r.o. will take appropriate measures to provide the data subject with all the information referred to in Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation and all notifications pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 and Article 34 of the General Data Protection Regulation relating to the processing, in a concise, transparent, in an understandable and easily accessible form, formulated clearly and simply, especially in the case of information intended specifically for the child. Information shall be provided in writing or by other means, including, where appropriate, electronic means. If the data subject has requested it, the information may be provided verbally, provided that the identity of the data subject has been proven in another way.

The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation from the controller as to whether personal data concerning him or her is being processed, and if so, he or she has the right to obtain access to that personal data and the following information:

– processing purposes;

– categories of affected personal data;

– recipients or categories of recipients to whom personal data have been or will be provided, in particular recipients in third countries or international organizations;

– if possible, the expected period of storage of personal data or, if this is not possible, the criteria for its determination;

the existence of the right to request from the operator the correction of personal data relating to the person concerned or their deletion or restriction of processing, or to object to such processing;

– the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority;

– if the personal data has not been obtained from the data subject, any available information as to its source;

– the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling.

The person concerned has the right to have the controller of personal data correct incorrect personal data concerning him without undue delay. With regard to the purposes of processing, the data subject has the right to supplement incomplete personal data, including by providing a supplementary statement.

The supervisory authority is the Personal Data Protection Office of the Slovak Republic. The affected person is entitled to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
